Because of depletion of ozone layer, the sun rays have been more directly reaching the earth surface by which so many skin problems like sun burn, skin color changing, premature wrinkles, irregular skin can be witnessed. Here comes the need for a cream which can act like a barrier to protect our skin from such harmful rays and that's the "Sunscreen".

There have been so many sunscreen's in the market lately and it just became a big dilemma of which one to choose. I'am a sunscreen addict cause i have really sensitive skin which just becomes a toast immediately after getting out in sun😑. So I have been in search of a good sunscreen which is suitable for daily use and also effective in protecting skin from UV rays. Lately there is so much advertisement going on for lotus sunscreen so just thought why don't give it a try. So, here i'm with review of Lotus herbals Safe Sun 3-in-1 Matte-Look Daily Sun Block Pa+++ SPF- 40.

Ingredients:

Water, talcum, kaolin light, glycerine, polyacrylamideC13-14 Isoparaffin laureth-7, oxybenzoene,octyl methoxy cinnamate, titanium dioxide, butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, isopropyl myristare,cyclopentasiloxane, elcosene, copolymer, fumed silica, 2- phenoxyethanol, methyl paraben, propyl paraben, methylchloroisothiazolinone and methylisothiazolinone, red iron oxide, yellow iron oxide, fragrance.

What the product claims:

This 3-in-1 daily sun block is a revolutionary sun protection formulation which combines broad-spectrum UVA & UVB protection with skin lightening ingredients to give a uniform matte finish to your skin. Its fast absorption and non-greasy formula ensures a shine-free, light and clean feel.
Contains the goodness of Birch, Mallow and Hops extracts.
Non-greasy formula, reduces oiliness and refines pores.
Gives a smooth and matte feel to the skin.
Enriched with astringent properties, gives a soothing effect.
Suitable for all skin types.

My experience with the product:

It comes in a tube packaging with a tight cap thus no problem of leakage. But after few uses it may becomes a little bit messy (Which often happens with bottle packages). The cream is orange tinted and creamy in texture which makes easy application. It does not leave any white cast on skin (as many sunscreen's do to make us look like ghost🙅). Since it is a tinted sunscreen you may not layer it with another day cream and it does give a matte finish (thus good for daily use). But it is not at all suitable for extremely dry or sensitive skin. For the dry skin it makes your skin more flaky and for sensitive skin it does cause irritation or breakouts.

Pros:

*Good for daily use.

*Gives matte look.

*Since its tinted no need to go for another day cream/ BB or CC cream.

*Has SPF 40 and PA+++ so provides good amount of protection.

*Best sunscreen for summer's if you have oily / sweaty skin.

*One of affordable sunscreen's in market.

Cons:

*Not suitable in winter's (makes skin even more dry).

*May not be that good on darker skin tones(as it has orange tint).

*Not at all suitable for sensitive skin as it may cause acne,burning, itching, or stinging of the skin.

Finally, I wont recommend you guys using this sunscreen as there are more better and affordable options available in the market. And I definitely would not repurchase it as it just dried out my skin. And sensitive skin people please stay away from it.
